About Tracy

It is my honor to ask for your vote for 2022 First Vice President of the National Association of REALTORS®. As we build our future, I believe in the incredible impact our members across the United States play in the prosperity of the economy, the vitality of the communities where we live, and our ability to truly make a difference for the people we serve.

So, who am I personally?

It was just seven years ago that I took on the title of my most treasured role…Grammie! I have five grandchildren who have changed our family in a way we never imagined.

In 2002 I married my love, Mike. We were the modern-day “Brady Bunch” blending seven children (6 boys and 1 girl) creating a home filled with love and laughter. It has been a wild ride complete with kids in nearly every sport, complicated and overlapping schedules, and lots of meals on the go!

Mike and I are avid Boise State University fans as well as College of Idaho “Yote” fans. We are active in the community, and together we have watched Idaho grow and become a destination where so many are flocking in search of a city where they can afford a home, start a new job, telework or retire, and enjoy all Idaho has to offer.

Professionally, it is my goal to make sure all who want to be a home or property owner, can.

I started in real estate as a receptionist and bookkeeper for a small brokerage in Oregon. Later, I helped my subsequent employers open two franchise brokerages in southwest Idaho. After half a decade of studying and learning the business, I felt it was time for me to dip my toe into the real estate waters as an agent.

In 1997 I became a licensed agent. From 2002 to early 2005, I helped open and manage a branch for a local title and escrow company. Then in 2006 I returned to real estate sales and obtained my broker’s license. Ten years after officially getting into the business, I took a risk and became a part owner of Silverhawk Realty, a local independent company. In 2012 I became the designated broker, and in 2016 the sole owner. It was just in the past few years that I joined forces with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) and have grown the largest BHHS franchise in Idaho with more than 65 agents in five offices across southwest Idaho, into eastern Oregon, and even more recently expanded to a sister company with three partners in the beautiful resort community of Sun Valley, Idaho.

Where my personal and professional become one.

I have always subscribed to the school of thought that being involved with my community and giving back is one of the most important roles I hold as a REALTOR®.  As a REALTOR®, Broker and community member, I have been able to combine the two and make a true impact. I feel the best way to make a difference is to get involved in local politics and positively impact the important issues that my community faces on a regular basis, and of course supporting community programs, most importantly our youth. I am proud to say that over the years I have helped raise over half a million dollars that has directly benefited children in my area – and my work there is far from over!
