Brooke’s Bio
Brooke Hunt received her Real Estate license in 1986 while doing Grad work at University of North Texas. She immediately joined her Mother’s brokerage and her very first committee at her local association, because that is just what you do, right?
She has only been with three companies during her over 30-year career, going from her mother’s office after seven years to Ebby Halliday, REALTORS® for 16 years and now calling Keller Williams Realty home since 2008 where she and her husband, Michael, operate the Hunt Team. BTW, their daughter, Emily, also received her license while attending college and works with Keller Williams in Austin.
Brooke served as President of the Northeast Tarrant County Board in 1999 and started moving through committees at Texas REALTORS®, serving as Chairman of the Board in 2009. She has been a Texas REALTORS® Director since 1999 and serves as a TR Director for life as a Past Chairman. Currently, Brooke serves as a local Director at the Greater Lewisville Association of REALTORS®.
Brooke has been a NAR Director since 2001, served on the NAR Executive Committee 12 times, Region 10 Vice President in 2013, a Presidential Liaison in 2012 and 2015 and served as 2010 President Vicki Cox Golder’s VP of Committees. Since 2001 she has served on over 20 NAR Committees and Presidential Advisory Groups.
Brooke is a Graduate in the first class of the NAR Leadership Academy, was awarded the NAR Omega Tau Rho, honored as 2015 Texas REALTORS® of the Year and was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame in 2013.
Brooke and Michael live in Flower Mound, TX and as much as she loves her career and her clients, she REALLY loves spending time outside with the hubby and their dogs, hanging out with family and friends, and taking trips to Austin to see their grand pup…and Emily and Reid, of course!
