Gary’s Bio

Gary entered real estate at the age of 27, after serving in the United States Air Force as a medic, making him an early ‘YPNer” before the term was coined.

As a veteran, service and dedication has been at the core and the driver for his involvement in the Realtor associations and to his community.  Gary has a varied and deep level of involvement over the years, serving on numerous committees including Credentials and Campaign Rules committee twice, RPMIC, Executive, Strategic Planning, and Chair of several other committees including Member and Consumer Communications, and Meetings and Conference.

He served as the 2009 Massachusetts State President, and the 2014 NAR RVP for Region One (New England). He also has been an NAR Director for twelve years, and was chosen to serve as a Chair for the 2018 NAR Conference (and 5k) in Boston by NAR President Mendenhall.

Most recently, Gary serves as an NAR Director, and a member of the 2020 RPAC Major Investor Council.

In 2021, Gary will be serving as the Vice Chair of the NAR Leadership Advisory Group.

For his work, he was awarded the 2005 Realtor of the Year for the Greater Boston Association of Realtors as well as the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, as well as the GBAR and MAR Distinguished Service awards. In 2012, he was awarded the Massachusetts CRS of the Year.

As a selling broker owner of a small office, Gary stays in tune with the concerns and needs of our members and what they need to be successful.  He continues to serve as a volunteer leader with those concerns in mind.

Gary lives in Waltham, Mass, with his wife Cynthia, and enjoys family time with his three children and two grandchildren, and his two dogs, a Labrador and a Golden Retriever. Gary enjoys the beach, golfing on Cape Cod with his dad, traveling to Europe and the Caribbean, and skydiving.
