Gloria’s Bio
Gloria Alonso Cannon s a REALTOR® from the Central Ohio area and is the daughter of Cuban immigrants. She has been licensed since 1996 and runs her real estate business, The Cannon Home Group, under a boutique independent brokerage with her son, Cole. Gloria’s involvement at the local, state, and national levels started soon after she was licensed in 1996 and has continued throughout her career. Currently, she is a NAR Director and serves on the NAR Leadership Academy Advisory Board.
Gloria is a 2013 graduate of NAR’s Leadership Academy and was the Chair of the NAR Leadership Academy Advisory Board in 2019. Gloria has served on numerous RPAC committees at NAR throughout her career. At the state level, in 2017 Gloria helped form the Ohio REALTORS® Leadership Academy and as Chair of the Leadership Academy Advisory Board. In addition, she has also Chaired numerous other committees at Ohio REALTORS® including Legislative Steering, Convention Advisory Board, RPAC Fundraising and others.
At Ohio REALTORS®, she served as District Vice President and was appointed to State Director and State Executive Committee multiple times. In 2016, Gloria was recognized as the REALTOR® of the Year for Columbus REALTORS® and went on to be awarded REALTOR® of the for Ohio REALTORS® in 2016.
Since 2018, Gloria has been contracted to establish leadership academy programs for multiple state and has been hired to revamp and consult on many other local and state leadership academy programs. It has quickly become Gloria’s passion to work with as many REALTOR® associations as she can to groom and educate the next wave of REALTOR® industry leaders.
